Dates for 2011

Hot of the press from the Australian Fencing Federaton are the dates for National competitions in 2011: Event Where When DH MacKenzie 2011 (AFF#1) QLD 16th April - 18th April R Chapman 2011 (AFF#2 SA 11th June - 13th June Cadet/U15 Nationals WA 9th July - 13th July AFF #3 ACT 12th August - 14th August Schools Championship VIC 5th October Junior Nationals VIC 6th October - 9th October Open & Veteran Nationals NSW 2nd December - 6th December Challenge Australia (Womens Epee/Epee teams) 24th-26th June The events will appear in the WAFA event calendar at the start of 2011.

WAFA Training Camp

WAFA Training Camp

The Western Australian Fencing Association will run a junior training camp from 10-15th January 2011. The camp will cater for U13, U15 and U17 and will provide a solid foundation for the National U15 and Cadet competition to be held in Perth in July 2011. Places are limited so get in early to avoid disappointment.

WAFA AGM - December 11

Further to the WAFA Calendar published at the beginning of the year, this is a reminder that the WA Fencing Annual General Meeting and Awards Presentation will be held on Saturday 11th December 2010.

Nominations will be open for all committee positions. Please consider nominating.

The AGM will commence at 4pm, immediately followed by presentation. I hope that proceedings will be all wrapped up by 6pm.

The Venue will be Belmont City College Gymnasium.
