Notice of AGM 15th November 2014

Dear all,

This is an important notice that the Cavaliers AGM will be held from 3.30pm on Saturday, 15 November 2014, at the Sports Centre at ECU after training that afternoon.  

I have attached the following:

1. AGM Notice.

2. Proposed Mission Statement.

3. Proposed Amended Constitution.

4. The 1999 Constitution (for comparison).

All are encouraged to attend and even better, to run for a position on the 2015 Committee! Cavs runs on volunteers, and we are always on the lookout for people keen to contribute so that we can keep the club fabulous.  All of us who are presently on the committee are more than happy to chat to you before the AGM about the different positions (and what is involved).  The committee meets about 4 or 5 times a year, and we have fun, we even sometimes have cupcakes :D

We are hoping to run a BBQ at ECU following the AGM as well, details TBA.

Stirling Star Volunteer Award

Congratulations to Drew Foley and Kylie Caunt on being nominated for Stirling Star Awards for valued volunteers for the May-August 2014 round. They will be attending an awards night in October to find out if they are round winners. I know both Drew and Kylie have felt quite humbled that someone thought them deserving of the nominations. The nominations are well deserved. Good luck Drew and Kylie.
