We have taken advantage of the provision of Thanks Coach certificates provided by the Department of Sport and Recreation to acknowledge all those fencers who coach, or assist with coaching at ECU Cavalier School of Fencing.

I don't know what the club would do without Ian. With a permanent cheerful disposition, he works quietly and efficiently, and has brought a new standard to the job of Equipment Officer.

"Social Salute" - Rewards Fun. Any adventures at a Cavaliers' social event that should be remembered for posterity. Acts of distinction and acts of blunder are equally eligible for this award.

For making us all laugh consistently at weekly club meets and in particular the Cavs Pub Night at Queens October 2008.

"Notable Knight" - Rewards sportsmanship. Recognises the honourable, noble, trustworthy, upright and virtuous amongst us.

For choosing sabre and having a go. Putting in huge amounts of effort and determination - more than any other beginner before. Being a great sport!

George attends our club each month with unfailing reliability and with incredible devotion to duty.

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS from the WAFA Dinner and Awards Night.
