Epee Coach
Ben is working to help epee coach,
Sam Jau of the Escrime RodezAveyron Club in to come to Perth and coach between September this year and
June 2014. He is looking for expressions
of interest for individual lessons ($30/session) which will be sold in 10
lesson blocks.

Ben is also searching for accommodation for Sam and his wife over that period (even a month here or there would help), so any help you can offer would be gratefully accepted.

Competitions start at 1pm sharp. Anyone not on the list by 1.10pm will not be
allowed in to the comp. These are being run during our normal training sessions
so please ensure that pistes are set up in the far corner and that your
equipment is kept next to the walls. Please respect that we need room for
people doing normal training. Everyone is welcome.

Junior Nationals
The Australian Fencing Federation and
Fencing Western Australia would like to hold a 3-day Foil and Sabre camp
following the Junior National Championships later this year in Perth. The camp
would be headed by National Coach, Antonio Signorello and would be open to
everyone that is interested (subject available places).
Fencing WA would be looking to host the camp around the 6-8 October.
Fencing Western Australia would like to get a feel for the level of interest from members of affiliated clubs.

Please
note that the AFF has set the entry fee for Junior Nationals to be $120 per
event to cover the refereeing surcharge. Please could everyone be aware of this
when people arrange entries.
