Coaches for Beginners Courses

DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A COACH?

Coaches for the Beginner Courses hold the most important and influential position in the Club.

It is during this course that our prospective members get their first feel of Fencing and make the decision to either leave the sport or join the Club to become regular and productive members.

Cavs is desperately in need of the right people to train up for this position. 

 

If you feel that you have a future in coaching and a desire to introduce the sport to newcomers, then please let us know.

You will need to work towards a Level 1 Coaching Qualification.

You will need to keep up your First Aid Qualifications.

You will need to obtain a Working With Children Police Check.

None of this is difficult if you have the interest and determination.

You are welcome to speak with any of the Snr Club Coaches to find out more without any pressure - Mahmud, Kylie, Mike, E-K

Our special Contract Coaches - Sven, Mal and Keiran - will also not hesitate to help out with information. 

Even if you have an intention of learning coaching in future years, we would still love to hear from you.
